Terms of Service
Last updated 23 September 2026
FanForge is in beta. Using it means agreeing to the few things below. They are written to be fair and to be understood in one reading.
Your writing is yours
Everything you write in FanForge — and everything the room writes for you from your premise — belongs to you. FanForge takes no ownership and no licence beyond what it needs to store your work, show it back to you, and send the relevant parts to an AI model when you ask for writing. You can export your screenplay at any time.
The beta
FanForge is provided as it is, while it is being built. Features change, and something may break. Every account gets 1,000 free credits for the room’s writing; editing, formatting and exporting never cost anything. There is nothing to buy during the beta, and the credits carry no cash value.
AI writing
The room’s output comes from an AI model. It can be wrong, derivative, or simply not what you wanted; it is a draft for you to judge, not a finished work. You are responsible for what you do with it, including checking that it does not reproduce someone else’s protected work.
Acceptable use
- Use your own account, and keep it to yourself.
- Don’t use FanForge to produce material that is unlawful, or that harasses or defames real people.
- Don’t try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to pull other people’s writing out of it.
Accounts that ignore this can be closed.
Your own AI account
If you connect an AI account of your own, the usage on it is between you and that provider, under their terms and at their prices. FanForge charges nothing for those runs.
No warranty, limited liability
FanForge is offered without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, FanForge is not liable for lost work, lost time, or any indirect loss arising from using or being unable to use the service. Keep your own exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending things
You can stop using FanForge and delete your account at any time. FanForge can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and may end the beta with notice. Your work is exportable up to that point.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the beta does; the date at the top says when. Questions go to fanforgeapp@gmail.com.
